About Us

OUR JOURNEY

If you had asked us 28 years ago, we never could of imagined we would be running 75 head of cow/calf pair allowing us to provide quality Black Angus beef from farm to table. Steve is a native Idahoan born and raised in his early years on his family homestead on the Camas Prairie Willow Creek before moving to Gooding. He has been involved in various aspects of agriculture since he was a young kid. Cindy was born and raised in the heart of South Seattle and moved to Idaho in 1994. Can you imagine 2 more opposites... somehow it works for us.

Steve started raising bottle babies in the 90s to start his herd. Along came Cindy the city girl who had managed to get thrown into raising her own group of babies, however, she quickly discovered she had no clue what she was doing. A mutual friend introduced us since Steve was the go to for help. Over the years we grew into the 75 head cow/calf herd we currently run that produces quality Black Angus beef.

Steve had always aspired to provide farm to table beef. In 2020 we opened up sales directly to the customer with bulk custom processed beef on the rail. Then in 2021 we took the leap into USDA processed beef for retail sales. Not everyone has the storage capacity for bulk beef, however, they want quality locally raised beef so this allows us to supply that customer also.
